Tom Flanagan has joined Barnet on loan from Milton Keynes Dons for the remainder of the 2012/13 season subject to Football League approval.
Flanagan spent the first six-months of the season on loan with Gillingham, during which time he was called up for the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad.
The defender has made 24 appearances for the Dons since making his debut as an 82nd minute substitute in a 5-0 defeat to Carlisle United on February 13th 2010.
During the same season he captained the Dons Under-18 side despite still being a second year scholar.
He has also spent time on loan with Kettering Town but he was quickly recalled after a string of impressive performances saw him earn a place in the Dons first-team.
Flanagan trained with the Bees on Thursday and he is expected to travel to Accrington tomorrow for Saturday’s match.
