GAMBIN: WE WILL BEAT NORTHAMPTON

Luke Gambin believes that Barnet will take all three points from the Sixfields Stadium on Saturday.
The youngster has had a big impact since breaking into the first-team and last Saturday he provided the cross to Jake Hyde for the only goal of the match.
Speaking at The Hive on Friday, Gambin stated that there will only be one outcome from Saturday’s match.
“It is only going to go one way and that way is us winning the match. We have worked hard all week and it will be good to get on the field on Saturday and show what we can do.
“Last week’s win has given everyone a massive confidence boost. It was great win and the boys did ever so well.”
This is the fourth successive year in which the Bees have gone into the final match with their future in the air and Gambin believes their experience will be vital.
“I think the experience of being in and around a team that have been in this position before will help.
“I was with the team last year in Burton and we have got a lot of character so I believe we can do it.”
The winger continued by hailing the impact of the senior players within the squad who have helped the likes of himself and Elliot Johnson settle in.
“The older players like John Oster, Graham Stack and Mark Byrne have all been great since I have come into the team.
“They have really helped me a lot and they’re always there to encourage you to make yourself better.”
Gambin has two assists in two despite starting both of the Bees’ previous matches from the bench and he is hoping his form leads to a starting berth.
“We started off the week in a relaxed fashion but as the week has developed we have worked harder and harder because we know we need to win.
“We are all very focussed as one and as a group so I have no doubt that we will be ready when the match kicks off tomorrow.
“Hopefully I will be selected but we will just have to wait and see and be patient. If I am on the bench then I will have to make sure I come on and have an impact again.”
