BARNET EQUALITY CODE OF PRACTICE SURVEY

Every year,  EFL clubs are required to adhere to the Equality Code of Practice.

The 2026/27 season marks the first year of new two-season assessment cycle, comprising a development season followed by an assessment Season in 27/28.

Instead, this season has been specifically designed to provide Clubs with the opportunity to consolidate and strengthen their existing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion provision, ensuring that Bronze-level requirements are fully embedded across all areas of the organisation while also considering whether they wish to progress towards silver or Gold accreditation during the 27/28 assessment season.

Throughout the season, each Club will be allocated three dedicated development meetings with the EFL Inclusion Team. These meetings are intended to provide tailored support, guidance, and challenge to help Clubs refine their current practices, identify areas for development, and ensure they are fully prepared for their assessment during the 27/28 season.

This season, to get a better understanding of how the club can work with supporters to strengthen and build on the work already done, we want to ask you, the supporters, what we can do to promote inclusivity at The Hive.

We welcome all suggestions on how we can continue to maintain and uphold the club’s commitment to equality and diversity.
