Everybody at the club would like to wish Rossi all the very best for whatever his future holds and we thank him for his time and efforts whilst at Barnet.

Eames rose through the ranks of the Barnet FC Academy, starting out as a video analyst in 2009. He stepped into coaching and enjoyed great success as he worked his way through the age groups, including a first-ever league title win.

He would later join the first team setup working alongside Martin Allen in 2015 and become caretaker on two occasions in the 2016/17 season.

The following season, he would be named first team Head Coach, becoming the youngest in the top four divisions in English football.

He stepped down from the role in November 2017 and became Head of Player Development, working with players throughout the Academy.

Rossi has penned an open letter following his departure:

After careful thought and consideration, working over 8 seasons at Barnet Football Club, it is now time to move on. I would like to thank everybody that I have worked with and supported me throughout my time at the club; my wife and family, the supporters, staff and players who I will always hold in high regard.

I would also like to say thank you to the Chairman, Martin Allen, Jeremy Steele, James Thorne, Henry Newman and Dan Leivers who I have had the pleasure of working with over the past 9 years and contributed to the development of myself and the players at this football club in so many ways.

I leave with a number of amazing personal memories such as the 2014/15 season in which 9 players from Youth Team were awarded professional contracts after an excellent season of development, aided by a number of first-class staff. Luton at home last season with an Academy product scoring the winner in the last minute, Brighton away which left me feeling so proud and also Swindon away with our 4-1 win where the team clicked that day.

I will cherish the memories and the football club always being close to my heart. I wish everybody connected to Barnet Football Club all the best for the future.

Rossi has been a fabulous servant and friend of the club for a number of years and we are sad to see him leave. Last season extracted a heavy toll on a number of us here, but we know he will bounce back and he will always be a welcome visitor. He leaves with our best wishes.
