The Hammersmith born man took his fist managerial job in 1986 at Newmarket Town before going on to manage the likes of Cambridge United, Bristol City, Cheltenham Town and even the Latvian national team.
Johnson has collected many honours throughout his 36-year managerial career, including winning the National League with Cheltenham Town, securing the League Two title with Yeovil Town as well as winning the FA Trophy at the old Wembley Stadium in 2001/02.
