Solihull Moors continue to fight for all available points as competition for a place in the play-offs gets tighter. The points were shared in The Bees last meeting with The Moors in October – courtesy of Gary Hoopers 96th minute goal.
The Moors hosted Southend on Tuesday night and suffered a 3-0 defeat but they managed to split the points at the weekend when they faced Aldershot Town at The EBB Stadium.
Solihull currently sit 5th on the table but with Gateshead ahead on goal difference and Altrincham just two points behind, The Moors will be looking to secure all available points to comfortably secure a spot in the play-offs.
One to Watch: Tahvon Campbell
The lethal striker has scored 5 times out of his last 6 experiences, only failing to find the back of the net during their clash against Southend.
The 27 year old has started 25 times out of his 29 appearances this season while also racking up 13 goals. The forward has been an important part of their fight to maintain a position in the play-offs.
In the Dugout: Andy Whing
As a player, Whing made appearances for clubs such as Coventry City, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chesterfield, Leyton Orient and finished his playing career off with 102 appearances at Oxford United.
The 39 year-old had three years managerial experience at Banbury United before he was appointed at Solihull Moors in June 2023. His side ended August at the top of the league and it saw Whing claim his first Manager of the Month award at the club.
His first season has been a successful one and the former Oxford United player will be looking to finish it on a high with pushing as far as they can in the play-offs.
