The Bees will be looking to make it four wins on the spin when we make the short trip west to face Maidenhead United at York Road this bank holiday Monday.
Barnet FC:
In our last outing on Saturday afternoon, the Bees registered another commanding victory over rivals Southend United at The Hive. With his first start for the club Harry Chapman opened the scoring with a thunderous shot from outside the box right into the bottom left-hand corner. Southend brought the game to the Bees more in the second half and got their reward when Gus Scott-Morriss levelled the game up with a shot from inside the box. Just minutes later and Barnet were awarded a penalty, Mark Shelton stepped up to make no mistake to seal the win.

Maidenhead United
Tomorrow’s hosts have had a difficult start to their National League season having only picked up one point from their opening four games this season. It was in their last game where they earned that point with an impressive goalless draw away to AFC Fylde.
Maidenhead United last five results:
AFC Fylde 0-0 Maidenhead United
Maidenhead United 0-1 Altrincham
Solihull United 2-1 Maidenhead United
Maidenhead United 0-2 Eastleigh
Farnborough 1-1 Maidenhead United
In the opposite dugout:
Maidenhead United are currently managed by former West Ham and Watford player Alan Devonshire who has been at the helm of the club since 2015. Since his appointment Devonshire has overseen over 430 games as boss of United, making him one of the longest serving managers at a single club in top five divisions.
Ones to watch
United midfielder Reece Smith was the club’s top scorer last season having scored eleven goals in the league. The 21-year-old will be looking to make his mark again this season to help steer his side to safety in the Vanarama National League.
Last time these two sides met:
The last time these two met was a goal thriller at York Road in April. Maidenhead went two goals up in this contest with goals from Mitchell-Lawson and Smith and looked to be cruising to victory before two late goals from Stead and Kabamba recued a point for the Bees in an entertaining game.
