Match Preview | Eastleigh v Barnet FC

The first Tuesday night match of the season will see Barnet travel to Eastleigh to face Lee Bradbury’s side at the Silverlake Stadium. 

 

So, What’s the Buzz? 

Barnet have won both of their opening games and scored a total of five goals. The Bees took home three points on Saturday after goals from Danny Collinge and Nicke Kabamba secured the 2-0 victory against The Ravens. Dean Brennan’s side will be hoping to continue their winning ways and bring home another three points.

In the Dugout: Lee Bradbury 

Lee Bradbury played at many clubs during his professional career as a footballer – Manchester City, Crystal Palace, Birmingham City and Portsmouth to name a few. He also had a spell at National League club- Southend United. His managerial career started at AFC Bournemouth for just over a year before a move to National League side Havant & Waterlooville where he spent 7 years. He made his move to Eastleigh in 2022 following his time as assistant head coach of Crawley Town. 

He joined in February 2022 and ended that season with the side 19th on the table before seeing a significant improvement the following season where they placed 10 places higher in 9th.
