Speaking on his departure from the club, Manager Dean Brennan said: “I personally would like to thank Nicke for his contributions towards our team’s success in the past couple of years.
“When I first spoke with Nicke about the project I was putting in place at Barnet he was so open to how I wanted to change his game and coach him into becoming a prolific goal scorer.
“Once we had that chat face to face, I knew that Nicke would fly for us. He showed the commitment and desire it takes to improve his game; he has now integrated himself as a legend at Barnet Football Club.
“Nicke gave his all to our cause, and that’s all we ask of our all our players.
“We will all miss him around The Hive, he has been a pleasure to work with. His family should be very proud of him, he is a very humble and honest lad. He has represented his family name with dignity and honour, this is something I challenge our players to always do, and Nicke has done that.
“From us all on the coaching staff and everyone connected to Barnet Football Club; Nicke you have been a pleasure to work with, and we wish you nothing but success at your new club, see numbers my friend, God bless, we will all miss you!
“Thank you for all the good memories!”
Everyone at the club would like to thank Nicke for all his efforts in a Barnet shirt and wish him the very best for the future!
