The Hive Foundation received an amazing donation from Gatorade and EA Games ambassador, Brazilian world cup winner, Kaka, at the Gatorade 5v5 event at The Hive.
To create a legacy beyond the tournament, Gatorade 5v5 launched a ‘Play and Stay’ initiative on the ground in North West London, as part of the brand’s end-to-end sustainability strategy to have a lasting positive impact on local communities.
The donation will see Gatorade and EA Games provide access to around 200 hours’ worth of affordable football sessions at The Hive delivered by The Hive Foundation coaches, the same location the Gatorade 5v5 tournament took place. These hours will be used by local children, with the ambition of removing barriers so that everyone can access the benefits of football.
The Hive Foundation manager, Dan Barton, said “We want to thank Gatorade, EA Games and Kaka for this fabulous donation which will enable us to help change local children’s lives through the power of football.”
