The 21-year-old attacking midfielder joined The Bees this summer from Premier League side Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee. Brunt spent last season on loan at National League side Boreham Wood. He made 43 National League appearances for The Wood helping them to secure a play-off spot. Whilst with Sheffield United, Brunt also had loan spells with Southend United and Notts County. Brunt made two senior appearances for Sheffield United, both in the League Cup.
