The Stones have fought their way back through the league system following the collapse of the original side. Bees midfielder Dan Sweeney will be returning back to Maidstone for the first time since leaving the Kent side to join Barnet last Christmas. Sweeney scored the winning penalty for Maidstone in the National League South play-off final and earned a call up to the England C team managed by Paul Fairclough during his time there.
This will be the first game under Rossi Eames’ since he became the head coach on a permanent basis. We will hear more from Eames ahead of tomorrow’s fixture later on this afternoon.
Elsewhere, a Barnet Under 18 elite development squad will be travelling to Edgware Town with kick off at 3pm. Our youth team will be at home to AFC Hornchurch in the morning and a Under 17 elite development squad at home to Kinetic in the afternoon.
