A group of sixth form students from the Totteridge Academy visited The Hive to watch Barnet FC train last week.
Rob Davis, the school’s Head of PE, brought a selection of pupils to the home of the Bees, and manager Martin Allen spent time discussing coaching styles with the students.
Rob reported that the sixth formers thoroughly enjoyed the trip, contacting the club to say:
“I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the other day.
“We had a great time chatting to Martin throughout the training session, and it was a really useful exercise for the guys to see some quality coaching ‘in the flesh’.”
The Hive Community Trust’s Steven Barron reflected on the event:
“It’s great to have school and college students at the Hive to watch a live training session,” he said.
“It is something that the team and the manager enjoy doing, and we hope to have more successful visits from across the community in the future!”
