Introduction
• Barnet host Gateshead on Saturday when they will be looking to return to winning ways following a 1-3 defeat to Woking last time out.
• The Bees’ five match unbeaten run ended last weekend but after picking up 15 points from a possible 18 they have clawed themselves back into the promotion picture.
• Luke Gambin and Harry Crawford have both been named in the squad giving Barnet a much needed attacking boost with Jake Hyde and Luisma Villa both unavailable.
• The match is Barnet’s last at The Hive for two weeks with consecutive away fixtures against Kidderminster Harriers and Macclesfield Town following Saturday’s match.
• The Bees could line up against two former Bees tomorrow with Liam Hatch and John Oster both available for the Tynesiders.
• Gateshead currently sit five points below Barnet in the Skrill Premier in eighth position.
• Despite their league position they have failed to pick up a win from their last four matches losing twice and drawing twice.
•Last time out they secured a point at home to Forest Green Rovers. Their last win came on Saturday 1 February against Kidderminster Harriers.

The Opposition
• Gateshead were founded in 1889 but they reformed in 1877.
• They play their home matches at the Gateshead International Stadium which has a capacity of 11,800.
• Rugby League side Gateshead Thunder also play their matches at ‘The Thunderdome’.
• Gateshead finished 17th in the Skrill Premier last season and will be looking to pick up points quick to ease any fears of a relegation battle.
• Gateshead are managed by former European Cup winner Gary Mills.
• Mills began his career with Nottingham Forest and he became the club’s youngest league player in 1978 when he made his first-team debut at the age of 16.
• Two years later he became the youngest player to appear in a European Cup final when Forest overcame Hamburg at the Santiago Bernabeu.
• Mills left Forest in 1982 to join the Seattle Sounders before returning to his former club after a brief spell on loan with Derby County.
• After four years with Forest Mills departed for Notts County in 1987. After two years he joined Leicester City and during his five year spell with the Foxes he achieved promotion to the Premier League and made over 200 league appearances.
• In 1996 Mills began his managerial career as player-manager of Grantham Town and he led them to promotion in his second season.
• Mills has since enjoyed managerial spells with King’s Lynn, Tamworth, Notts County, Alfreton Town, Tamworth (again) and York City.
• The former European Cup Winner returned to management in September 2013 signing a one-year rolling contract with Gateshead.

Jake Hyde scored an 88th minute winner to give Barnet a 1-2 win away at Gateshead
Colin Larkin opened the scoring for the home side after 32 minutes but their lead lasted just five minutes as Keanu Marsh-Brown slotted home.
The matched looked like it was going to end level but Hyde took centre stage with just two minutes remaining as he volleyed the unbeaten Bees to second in the Skrill Premier table.
