STACK: WE KNOW WHAT IS EXPECTED OF US

Graham Stack is hoping Barnet can build on their 0-0 draw against Cheltenham Town and come out the Easter weekend with more points on the board.
The Bees are preparing for a relegation double-header over the Easter period in what will surely be a deciding factor in the Npower League Two survival battle.
Following the match against Cheltenham the goalkeeper admitted his disappointment at Barnet’s failure to win but insisted it has only made them hungrier to taste victory next time out.
“I said we needed to win our home matches so I would not have taken a point before the game, I wanted to beat Cheltenham and I am a little disappointed we didn’t.
“Reflecting on the game a draw was probably a fair result but I felt we edged it. Now we need to make sure we do get three points against Dagenham & Redbridge on Friday.”
The Bees travel to AFC Wimbledon three-days after Friday’s meeting with the Daggers in what Stack has called a ‘pivotal’ Easter weekend.
“It will be pivotal. We will not build it up more than it is because we know exactly what is expected and we are aware of what needs to be done.
“There is no need to dress it up because it will be a big occasion regardless. Before Saturday we had ten days to save our season and having gained a point we really need to kick on now.
Stack continued: “The two matches we have are massive and they will be tough but I know they’re games we can get something out of. It will not be pretty but we will get the job done.”
The freezing conditions are continuing to cause havoc up and down the country and the goalkeeper admitted he has never played in conditions like the ones he faced on Saturday.
“I have played in a lot of games during my career but I must admit I haven’t played in anything like that in all my years.
“It wasn’t so much the down pour of snow but the freezing conditions leading up to the game that made the pitch extremely saturated. It was very difficult to play on.
He added: “Games where I am not very involved are always the most testing. I have to keep everyone on their toes and make sure they’re alert but personally I have to do everything I can to stay focussed.
“I need to be ready for anything and if you’re not on your metal at this level then you can slip up very easily and find yourself a goal behind.”
