MATCH PREVIEW: FLEETWOOD vs BARNET

David Bloomfield

If you are one of those not making the four hour plus journey tomorrow the barnetplayer service will as usual be offering full match commentary.

Whilst on the 233 mile journey from Underhill to Highbury, (the Lancashire version), Mark Robson had this to say to those following the Bees on Saturday, “I’d like to thank in advance all the Bees fans that will be travelling such a long distance to support us tomorrow and can assure you, we will do all we can to bring back three points.”

The team sheet will also make interesting reading concerning Mark Byrne and Andy Yiadom who have been moving towards fitness this week after the forwards both missed Barnet’s last three matches.

Whenever he comes onto the pitch however he will be wearing the No. 36 shirt.

Last week Mark Robson after the Rotherham United match whilst clearly looking forward to having the former Dutch international involved he did issue a word of caution about his level of fitness. This is something that has obviously been worked on this week at The Hive, but we’ll only know his state of readiness come 2 o’clock when the Barnet team is announced.

The Bees are obviously looking still looking for their first win of the season and it remains to be seen if new signing Collins John will be involved in any capacity.

“We have taken a lot of confidence from our game against Rotherham. As well as the welcome clean sheet this was a game that I and many felt we should have won.”

This evening Barnet Head Coach Mark Robson spoke to barnetfc.com and said, “The team and I are on the coach at the moment travelling up to Fleetwood before tomorrow’s match and we travel in good spirits.
