This afternoon Barnet manager Martin Allen announced that he plans to make George Sykes available for loan.
Commenting on his decision, Martin said:
"This morning I had a good chat with George Sykes and let him know how impressive he has been throughout pre-season, which has been as a result of his hard work during the summer.
"To help George with his development, in my opinion George needs to go out and play regular men’s football, even though he is very close to our first team.
"I must emphasise that this is a step forward for George and not a step backwards, he is a good one for the future."
