Earlier this morning Martin Allen met with several players to discuss their futures at Barnet Football Club.

As a result Sam Muggleton and Connor Dymond have returned to Gillingham and Crystal Palace with the head-coach set to use Saturday’s match to cast a final eye over contracted players.

Allen continued by praising James Harper who has not been given a new contract but will be invited back to the club for pre-season training which will begin on July 3rd. 

Defender Jack Saville will also be invited back for the start of pre-season but the club will not be taking up his option and he and the Bees are free to seek alternative arrangements. 

Jon Nurse will not be awarded a new contract at this point in time with Allen prioritising the strengthening of other areas but like Harper and Saville he will be invited back to the club for pre-season.

Allen praised the contribution of Harper, Nurse and Saville hailing their professionalism, bravery and attitude.
