The full extent of Dani Lopez’s shoulder injury is still to be determined but the club regret to announce that it will be a long-term injury.
Lopez recently signed on-loan from Stevenage and scored his first goals since his return in the 3-0 FA Cup win over Concord Rangers one-week ago.
The blow is somewhat softened by the excellent progress being made by Jake Hyde who is close to a return to training.
Curtis Weston has already returned to training following a nasty injury against Wrexham and Roberto Casabella is also close to a return to action.
The club also hope to have Edgar Davids, Carl Fletcher and Luke Gambin available for Saturday’s trip to Preston North End.
