Harry Crawford will miss Saturday’s trip to the New Lawn through injury according to Uli Landvreugd.
The forward picked up a knee injury but Landvreugd doesn’t believe it is a major concern with both Jake Hyde and Dani Lopez fit and raring to go.
He also explained the importance of George Sykes playing games after the youngster joined Farnborough on a one month loan.Â
"It is very important at this stage in his development that George plays regular football," Landvreugd said. "At the moment Jake Hyde is fit and Dani Lopez is fit.
"We also have Harry (Crawford) but he has picked up a little injury.
He also admitted it was a hard decision to let Jon Nurse due to the forward’s impressive form over the past two months.Â
"Nursey did very well last month when he came on as a substitute and when he started.Â
"It was a hard decision for Jon and for us but it will be beneficial for him," explained Landvreugd. ""He is one of the most experienced players in the group but he is still training with us and is a good influence on the group."
Landvreugd also revealed that the club are looking to enter the loan market when it reopens next week.
"We want bring in a centre-back and that is our priority. We need another one and we are looking to get one when the loan window reopens."
