Inside The Hive: An update on the latest news

Please find below a section by section summary of various information which may be of note to our supporters.

Head Coach Appointment

The Club has received a number of applications for the role and are whittling down a shortlist of possible candidates to take the position. Whilst there is not an exact timescale of when an announcement will be made regarding who will be taking the Club forward into the 2020/21 season, we will keep Bees fans updated with any significant developments.

Ticketing and Memberships

As you may have seen earlier today, all BFC Members who paid annually for the 2019/20 season, will be refunded on a pro-rata basis. For the full article regarding this CLICK HERE.

We will soon be launching our season ticket campaign for the 2020/21 season and as you may already know we will be running an adult season ticket offer of £199. The Club are currently updating its online ticketing system, to ensure that we can comply with social distancing rules and make it as easy as possible for Bees fans to select the available seats.

Our season ticket and general ticketing structure for the 2020/21 National League season will be communicated to supporters in the coming weeks. We once again look forward to seeing you back at The Hive when it’s safe to do so.

Stadium and pitch maintenance

The grounds staff at The Hive London continue to work on the main stadium pitch every day, ensuring that it is kept in peak condition for the start of the new season. London Bees kick off their season in September, so it won’t be long until we finally have football back in our home.

The training pitches at our home have also undergone maintenance, with area A being completely relaid by our grounds team. As it stands the pitches will be in tip-top condition for our return to pre-season training.

The Hive Foundation

As always the charitable arm of our football club is extremely busy with their usual community work. Our summer holiday soccer camps kicked off this week, with plenty of kids coming down and enjoying being back out there playing sport again. Our team have worked tirelessly hard to ensure all of our community sessions are COVID-19 secure and are very much enjoying being back out on the pitch. There is limited availability on our summer soccer camps, for more information CLICK HERE.

Meanwhile, for the first time in five months, the Barnet FC Walking Football Team returned to the pitch this afternoon (Friday, 14th August). The session was fully booked and all the players were in high spirits as they got back out on the field again.
