Injury Update: Sweeney, Vilhete, Coulthirst, Matrevics

Dan Sweeney

“Sweeney is due to have a scan to check the severity of a knee injury picked up on Tuesday night against Palace – he is unavailable for the Peterborough game.”

Mauro Vilhete

“Mauro has aggravated the area where he has had previous injuries in his groin. He also has to see a consultant to find out the severity of it.

“At this moment, we are hopeful of best-case scenarios for both of the boys, but Mauro is also unavailable for the Peterborough game.”

Shaquile Coulthirst

“The spasm in his lower back is starting to ease, however, Saturday’s game against Peterborough may come too early.

“He’s fine to return to training and could potentially be ready for the Arsenal match.”

Rihards Matrevics

“Rihards took a blow to the head during a training session so he’s been absent for a few days with a mild concussion but he should be fine over the next few days.”

“We’re just awaiting different results from various different areas just so we can have a clearer idea of the time-scale for each one.”
