Barnet FC are delighted to announce that the cinematic event that all Bees fans have been waiting for has finally arrived!
For three days only in January we will be screening the critically-acclaimed Underhill film made by Simon Emmett and Anthony Shurmer, as The Hive rolls out the red carpet for all Barnet fans to enjoy a special cinematic spectacle chronicling a momentous period in the club’s history.Â
Documenting the Bees’ departure from Underhill culminating with that dramatic final game against Wycombe Wanderers on 20th April 2013, the film explores the unique relationship between Barnet FC, the people that make the club what it is and the famous old place that they called home for 106 years.
The film has already been shown at a few private industry screenings and was first premiered at The Hive at last season’s Academy Dinner, and has drawn widespread acclaim from many famous faces that have seen it already.
And now Barnet fans will have the opportunity to enjoy this very special production for themselves, with the following screenings scheduled to take place:
Friday 16th January @ 20:00
Saturday 17th January @ 15:30
Saturday 17th January @ 20:00
Sunday 18th January @ 16:00
Tickets for the event are just £12, with members being able to buy one ticket each at a discounted rate of £10 – the price of which includes a bag of popcorn and cornetti ice cream to help get into the cinema spirit!
After arriving in The Hive Bar, the foyer for the evening, guests will be able to stock up on goodies and refreshments before heading through to the Trophy Room Cinema, where Underhill’s much-anticipated premiere to the public will take place on a specially-installed big screen.
