Good afternoon,

I have had a good meeting this morning with the Chairman and we will continue our chat later this week.

Decisions on the playing staff have to be made sooner rather than later in the best interests of the club and, of course, the players.

In our meeting this morning was Adrian Whitbread, Carl Muggleton, Danny Senda and Rossi Eames.

The following players will not be offered new contracts;

Craig Ross, Ruben Bover, Jamie Stephens, Justin Amaluzor, Andre Blackman, Shane Cojocarel, Tobi Coker, Tom Day, Jordan Nicholson, Ryan Watson.

The following players are under contract and will be made available for loan for the following season;

Fuad Sule, Wesley Fonguck, Darnell Smith, Ephron Mason-Clark.

Charlie Clough will also be given a free transfer to give him the chance of getting regular football and playing opportunities. He has been a great help to me behind the scenes despite his frustrations.

Fumnaya Shomotun will have the option on his contract triggered and Michael Nelson has been offered a new contract.

Lastly, John Akinde will be made available for transfer and, of course, a fee will be required. John has been an iconic figure, one of the all-time Barnet greats. He is very, very special but the time has now come for a change of direction and this was a joint decision between myself and the Chairman.

Talks on mine and my staff’s futures are ongoing with further meetings scheduled.

The club will be taking up the option on Alex Nicholls’ contract. Curtis Weston and Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro will both be offered new contracts.
